Orvis and Hunter Gather Cook
have partnered to launch the ultimate outdoor experience package: a day of fly fishing, foraging and cooking, ending in a freshly cooked meal celebrating the best British wild food.
The package was launched on 9th April with a special day on the Kimbridge beat on the world-renowned River Test, the event coinciding with the launch of Nick Weston’s new cookbook, Adventures in Wild Food
.

Established in 2011 and located in the middle of mixed woodland on a stunning 40-acre farm near Lewes, East Sussex, Hunter Gather Cook is a foraging and cookery school that specialises in game butchery, wild cocktails and outdoor cookery, exclusively cooked over live fire.
Nick, Founder of Hunter Gather Cook, said: “Fly fishing and foraging are personal passions of mine, so this was a natural partnership to create. Having access to the Orvis beat on the world-renowned River Test made this Catch & Cook package even more special. I fish with an Orvis Helios 3 fly rod and love the companies’ ethos of conservation and encouraging people to enjoy the outdoors.”

The Catch & Cook summer session dates include Sunday, 21st September, on the Orvis Kimbridge Beat on the River Test in Hampshire. The cost is £350 per rod
