The Lexus designed airline lounge at Brussels Airport has once again been named the best in Europe, extending an unbeaten run that now spans seven consecutive years.

has been crowned Europe’s Leading Airline Lounge at the World Travel Awards every year since it opened in 2018 — a rare achievement in an increasingly competitive airport lounge landscape.
Located within Brussels Airport, The Loft was conceived as a natural extension of Lexus’ wider luxury philosophy rather than a traditional airline lounge. The space is designed around the Japanese principle of Omotenashi — a form of hospitality that focuses on anticipation, subtlety and personal attention — creating an environment that feels calm, considered and quietly indulgent.
Spanning more than 2,000 square metres, the lounge offers private spa rooms with Grohe showers, dedicated work and relaxation zones, shiatsu massage chairs, and sleep rooms featuring starlight-effect ceilings. Dining is treated with equal care, with hot and cold food available throughout the day alongside an in-house chocolatier that adds a distinctly Belgian flourish.
Guests are welcomed by dedicated Lexus ambassadors, whose role is to ensure the experience feels effortless rather than formal. It’s an approach that continues to resonate with travellers and judges alike.
Seven consecutive annual awards suggest this is no novelty collaboration. Instead, The Loft has become a benchmark for what a premium airport lounge can be when design, service and atmosphere are given equal weight — and when luxury is expressed through restraint rather than excess.
Visitors should note that The Loft will temporarily close from 5 January 2026 to undergo an extensive renovation. The project aims to elevate the lounge further, with a refreshed design and enhanced facilities planned ahead of a reopening in summer 2026, where the expectation is that it will retain its position at the top end of European airport hospitality.
