Bond and Bollinger: Forty Years and Still Making a Splash

The latest edition in the James Bond franchise, No Time To Die, sees the suave secret agent sipping Champagne Bollinger with his trademark enigmatic charm.

In celebration of over 40 years of this winning partnership, Champagne Bollinger has produced a limited edition that brings together three icons: Bollinger’s signature Special Cuvée, the Aston Martin DB5 and the legendary British secret agent, James Bond.

Champagne Bollinger worked with the celebrated photographer Greg Williams to produce the Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition campaign. Williams’ signature cinematic style runs through the campaign, mirroring the style used in movie posters for No Time To Die ahead of its release.

Honouring the most perfect of partnerships, the limited-edition Champagne gift box features the silhouette of James Bond alongside his Aston Martin DB5, with the colourway of the gift box echoing its silver birch finish. The Bollinger lettering and logos are depicted in gold, and the iconic Special Cuvée bottle has been adapted to feature a black and gold neck collar with a 007 blazon.

The Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition has been photographed using the Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation car as a backdrop. This unique car, developed by Aston Martin in collaboration with EON Productions, was built as an authentic reproduction of the iconic DB5 film car featured in No Time To Die.

Bond, Bollinger and Aston Martin all return in No Time To Die, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Daniel Craig, who returns for his fifth film as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007. After being delayed by the Covid pandemic, it will finally be released in UK cinemas on 30th September.

The Bollinger Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition will be available from 1st September from fine wine merchants worldwide, priced at around £50. To get reacquainted with James Bond, you can view the trailer for No Time To Die below.
