This year the internationally renowned Belgian music festival Tomorrowland
was host to something of a first for the world of music and festivals — B-EAT.
This year, alongside some of the world’s top DJs and musicians, Las Vegas’ top culinary talent arrived enforce to create B-EAT, an innovative, new gastronomic festival concept. Promising the ultimate sensory experience, it combines Michelin Star-level dining — bites — with the best in dance music — beats — to celebrate the fusion of food and music.

In a world first, Las Vegas’s most exciting chefs took to the stage in their own customised kitchen for hour-long sessions creating three-course tasting menus, all while world-class DJs rocked the lucky crowd.
Among the top chefs hosting the B-EAT sessions were Joshua Smith (executive chef at Bardot Brasserie at Aria Resort & Casino), Jonah Resnick (executive chef at Carbone at Aria Resort & Casino), Anthony Amoroso (corporate executive chef at MGM Resorts International), Christophe De Lellis (executive chef at Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino), Wil Bergerhausen (executive chef at Le Cirque at Bellagio Resort & Casino) and Jamaal Taherzadeh (executive chef at Libertine Social at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino).
Some of the incredible dishes the adventurous chefs produced included such delights as sea urchin in fine gelee of lemon, veal cheek and tropical cheesecake!

To add to the truly immersive experience, diners were treated to an open kitchen experience, watching the chefs as they performed, their dedication and artistry often outshining the world-class DJs who (attempted!) to take centre stage.
The Tomorrowland festival is easily accessible from Brussels, which is quickly and easily reached by Eurostar from London St. Pancras in around just two hours.
If you are looking to experience exciting food like never before in one of the world’s most exciting locations, then keep an eye on Las Vegas
and Tomorrowland next year!
