For World EV Day 2022, Gridserve invites EV owners to celebrate at locations across its Electric Highway. Held on the 9th of September, this year’s World EV Day is an international day to celebrate e-mobility while driving the transition to sustainable transport. The focus for this year is ‘Go EV’ and encouraging EV owners to come together for ‘EV meet-ups’.
Gridserve is inviting EV owners to host their EV meet-ups
at one of Gridserve’s Electric Forecourts or Electric Super Hubs for this year’s event. Gridserve goodies are provided for each meet-up, including coffee vouchers.
For those looking to make the switch to an EV, Gridserve Car Leasing has deals on all the latest electric vehicle models. To mark this year’s World EV Day, customers will receive a charging card worth £200 to keep them moving. All enquiries from the 9th to 12th September, which lead to a completed order by the 16th September, will receive £200 worth of free charge to use across the Gridserve Electric Highway – enough for as much as 1,500 miles in an electric car.

“Gridserve is thrilled to be able to accommodate EV meet-ups at some of our most popular locations this World EV Day,” explains Robert Buckland, sales and operations director for Gridserve. “EV owners will be able to meet and discuss EVs, charging and their real-life experiences while being able to charge their EV on our reliable and accessible chargers.
“Gridserve is continuing to deliver on its mission to move the needle on climate change by providing the EV charging infrastructure supplied by renewable energy for those already in EVs and also giving impartial advice and great leasing offers to help those make the switch to EVs. With £200 worth of free charge to use on our network, now is a great time to lease an EV from Gridserve.”
