HondaJet Aviators Invited to a Luxury Weekend Getaway in Florida

HondaJet owners can look forward to an exclusive weekend away in Florida, as The HondaJet Owners and Pilots Association organises its first HondaJet Getaway based at the luxurious W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.

Taking place in November, the weekend will be a relaxation, networking and learning experience for guests, with fellow aviators, educational sessions and plenty of food and drink to keep everyone happy.

Intimate and exclusive, the gathering will allow club members and a guest to socialise with other HondaJet pilots and owners, as well as special guests featured in the speaker series on Saturday morning.

The weekend kicks off with cocktails in the resort bar on Friday evening, followed by an exclusive dinner in a private space at the hotel. The following morning, a private ocean-facing terrace will host guests for breakfast before the mini speaker series begins.

HondaJet instructor, Tim Frazier, will start the event, imparting his knowledge to fellow owners and aviators, before Arthur Alan Wolk shares his entertaining stories from his five decades in aviation litigation.

Honda Aviation representatives will also be on hand to share updates on the aircraft, including what’s happening at the factory, maintenance issues, and the latest upgrades available to owners.

There will be plenty of free time to explore Fort Lauderdale or spend the time networking with fellow delegates. A spectacular dinner on Saturday evening will be the highlight of the event.

W Fort Lauderdale Hotel

Marriott’s luxury lifestyle brand, W, is aimed at affluent millennials, offering design-led experiences that are both luxurious and, vitally, Instagrammable.

One of 66 W Hotels around the globe, the Fort Lauderdale venue is right in the middle of the town’s action, close to restaurants, bars and nightlife.

The beachfront hotel has 346 hotel rooms, with some offering uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean. Other rooms offer partial views or overlook the Intracoastal Waterway or downtown Fort Lauderdale.

As with other W hotels, it’s a lively venue with its Whiskey Blue nightclub and impressive Steak 954 restaurant, Stephen Starr’s first Florida restaurant. That’s joined by authentic Mexican flavours at El Vaz, and casual dining at the poolside Wet Bar & Grill.

A so-called wetdeck houses two pools, and there’s both a spa and fitness studio, ensuring guests can both detox and retox.

How To Attend

Attending the event will cost $350 (£255) per person, with accommodation starting from $400 (£295) per night. Getaway guests must be members of The HondaJet Owner and Pilots Association, and you’ll find full details on its website.
