The Kia ‘Brick to the Future’ initiative celebrates the power of inspiration, imagination and creativity that Lego bricks offer. Demonstrating the infinite shapes that the bricks allow people of all ages to create, the ‘Brick to the Future’ EV6 is a symbol of Kia’s new and inspiring path towards sustainable mobility.
The full-scale model, built with 350,000 Lego bricks, emphasises the EV6’s striking design while clearly suggesting that the future of sustainable transportation will be constructed brick by brick.

As the most innovative and acclaimed vehicle in Kia’s history, the EV6 — a dedicated electric vehicle built on a unique modular platform — represents the brand’s transition to an electric future. The intricate Lego model retains the distinctive details and personality of the original EV6.
Kia Italy commissioned the project, which required over 800 hours of work from BrickVision, a company based in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Founded by Italy’s first and only Lego Certified Professional, Riccardo Zangelmi, BrickVision transformed Zangelmi’s childhood passion for Lego into a thriving business.
Zangelmi and his team spent four months creating the ‘Brick to the Future’ EV6, even developing a functioning lighting system to preserve the EV6’s unique lighting signature from every angle.

Kia Italy’s YouTube Channel
features a short video documenting the entire building process, capturing each stage from inception to presentation. The video highlights the creative and constructive journey, mirroring Kia’s path since 2021 with the launch of the ‘Plan S’ strategy. Under Plan S, Kia is evolving its traditional business model to become a sustainable mobility provider.
‘Brick To The Future’ will be displayed during the 2023 Milan Design Week from 17 April 2023, then exhibited at the Kia Energy House in Rome.
