We’re celebrating the launch of the Lonely Planet Experience guides with a competition to win a pair of the new travel books worth £34. The innovative range of books is designed to turn travelling on its head, and have been dubbed ‘the anti-guidebook’ thanks to their fresh approach.
Written by local experts from an experience-led perspective, these ground-breaking compact guides are designed for a new generation of savvy travellers looking for a more interactive way to explore.
Lonely Planet will launch a range of 35 Experience guides
throughout 2022, but we’ve got the initial six launch titles to give away. Three winners will receive a pair of books; a local pair covering Scotland and Ireland, a European break couple made up of Portugal and Italy, or far-flung adventures covered by guides on Iceland and Japan.
How to Enter
Entry is simple and free, with no obligation, using the widget below. We’ll need your email address, and you’ll have to choose which books you’d like to win, and that’s it. Once we’ve completed the Lonely Planet competition and contacted the winners, we’ll delete your entry and all your details.
However, you can gain extra entries by sharing a little more with us or checking out our social media channels. Join the CALIBRE Update mailing list, and we’ll keep hold of your details and send you occasional emails with highlights from the site. We’ll never, EVER, sell that information to anybody else, and we send far fewer emails than we should as we work on other things and generally forget to do it. Simply visiting our social media channels via the buttons on the form also gains you extra entries, but again, there’s no obligation.
